Professor Anthony DiMaggio and Assistant Professor Dean Caivano have published a new article in CounterPunch titled “The Iran War and America’s Fascist Rebirth.” The essay examines how the current U.S. war with Iran is framed through narratives of national crisis and renewal and considers how these narratives support the expansion of executive power in contemporary American politics.
